Ocean Star Aged Care
Opposite the sparkling shoreline of the Indian Ocean, Ocean Star Aged Care offers a seaside holiday feel through a combination of a 40 room ageing in place facility and a separate 22 bed high care facility.
Opened in 1982, Ocean Star offers residents individual rooms with built in robes, ensuites, reverse cycle air conditioning and access to individual telephones. Some rooms also have a private courtyard which offer Residents there own entry. There are several lounge areas, a communal dining room, a chapel and large activities room.
Hairdressing and podiatry are available on a regular basis. There is a bus stop directly in front of the hostel and Bunbury City Transport stops in Mangles Street close to the entry of the nursing home. Ocean Star also offers its own bus service which assist residents on shopping trips and outings to local areas of interest.
Both Holy Communion and Rosary are available daily in the chapel.
