Working with Catholic Homes Incorporated

Catholic Homes provides quality care to elderly Western Australian people, ensuring their time with us is enjoyable and comfortable.

We are a growing organisation that currently cares for over 340 residents and employs approximately 300 highly skilled and passionate staff across a range of disciplines throughout our network of 7 Aged Care Facilities.

As an organisation we are committed to providing a working environment that is stimulating, safe, fun, caring and friendly. We pride ourselves on presenting staff with learning and development opportunities in their chosen field.

We have utmost respect for our staff as not only do they make a difference in the lives of our residents but without them we wouldn’t be able to achieve our vision of being the aged care provider of choice.

We offer our staff tax savings through generous salary packaging, competitive working conditions, a supportive environment with ongoing professional development to ensure our services are of the highest quality.

Catholic Homes welcomes applications from individuals who share our values and are passionate about working within this industry, which can be both challenging and rewarding.

We offer a wide variety of career opportunities which include positions as Domestic Staff, Care Workers, Enrolled Nurses, Registered Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Therapy Assistants and a variety of positions in administrative and management areas.

Catholic Homes and Health Pathways

In late 2010 Catholic Homes commenced the project “Health Pathways” in collaboration with several Aged Care providers and the Canning Coalition, under the auspices of the Department of Education.

The aim of the project is to bring together the aged care industry and secondary schools for two reasons: to meet the demands of providing care for a growing ageing population whilst at the same time broadening career opportunities within the Healthcare industry for Year 11 and 12 students. Students can then be offered further qualification which would mean ongoing employment and stability of workforce for Catholic Homes in the longer term. The program is a great opportunity for creating a proactive and positive image for Catholic Homes for potential employees in the community and we are proud to be part of this exciting project.
