Residents and staff at Trinity Village, Duncraig, enjoyed a wonderful concert of Christmas carols and other songs, performed by thirty students from Poynter Primary School.
The dedicated young children walked two kilometres to and from the residence to perform the songs in the Community Centre. Approximately one hundred were eager to take part but limited space meant the school had to draw a lottery to select those who could make the visit.
The school even prepared song books for the residents and staff to sing Christmas carols with them. Natasha Centis, a Lifestyle Facilitator at Trinity Village, says she was incredibly impressed with the whole affair:
“It was truly amazing and we were all so impressed with the dedicated and caring team that put this together,” she says. “All the residents enjoyed it so much and we feel so lucky to have such a lovely relationship with the school.”
