Celebrating Our People | Aged Care Employee Day 2025

We are proud to have almost 1,000 dedicated employees supporting older Western Australians across Residential Aged Care, Independent Living, Home Care and corporate operations — and during Aged Care Employee Day on Thursday 7 August 2025, we’re coming together to celebrate them all.

At Catholic Homes, we’re celebrating not just the day, but the entire week, to shine a light on the passion, care and commitment of our aged care heroes across Residential Care, Home Care, Independent Living, Allied Health, Day Therapy Centres and corporate support teams.

Aged Care Employee Day is about recognising more than 370,000 people who care for and support around 1.5 million older Australians. Whether it’s nurses, personal carers, hospitality staff, allied health professionals or admin teams, every one of them plays a part in making aged care compassionate, safe and person-centred.

How you can get involved

Every Residential Care facility and Day Therapy Centre will host a Gratitude Wall – a space where residents, clients, families, and fellow staff can write heartfelt notes of thanks.

We invite you to share your appreciation for someone who has made a difference to you or your loved one, whether it’s a carer’s kindness, a Lifestyle team’s energy, or a quiet moment of support.
