Darren is an experienced executive leader with a diverse range of skills and expertise in operational and people management, financial performance, strategic growth, risk management, change management and stakeholder engagement.

He has worked across a variety of Catholic, commercial and not-for-profit organisations with extensive experience in the aged care sector having served for a decade on the Board of MercyCare, including as Deputy Board Chairman, and more recently on the Board of Bethanie Group Inc.

He is a committed Catholic and is currently Chairman of the Ministry Initiative Advisory Committee for the Sisters of St John of God and is past Chairman of the Mater Christi Catholic Parish Finance Committee and past Board Chairman of Mater Christi Catholic Primary School and Corpus Christi College.

Emma has served the aged care and community services sectors for more than 10 years in senior management and operational roles with a focus on innovation, quality systems, strategic planning and clinical governance.

For aged care, Emma has held leadership positions with several residential and home and community care providers in Western Australia and Victoria.

Her community service sector experience includes working as a chief operating officer for a youth organisation where she oversaw the development and implementation of its strategic plan, as well as successfully securing government accreditation.

Her passion and dedication for developing teams and services equipped to respond to the most vulnerable people in the community led her in 2021 to launch her consulting company, Preempt Consulting.

Her early clinical career included nursing in general and specialist medicine at tertiary hospitals in Perth and Fremantle, culminating in nurse management roles in Melbourne.

Emma is an APHRA registered nurse and a member of the Australian Institute of Clinical Governance.

She holds tertiary qualifications in nursing from Notre Dame University and Curtin University and has certification in frontline management.

Hayley brings a wealth of experience in strategic leadership and people management having previously held key positions at Deloitte Consulting Australia, Westrac, HealthEngine, and most recently as Director of Aptitude Consulting. Hayley founded Aptitude, a boutique management consultancy firm supporting clients across all sectors across Australia including Communicare, Ray White Commercial, Australian Vanadium, and the Department of Transport. Hayley has also been called upon as a thought leader in people and performance, including as a Presenter and Columnist at the Aged and Community Care Providers Association (ACCPA) Conference in Adelaide in 2023.

Hayley will lead our people and culture, strategy design and business planning, and marketing, change and communications functions across the organisation. She will be responsible for ensuring the alignment of our workforce capabilities with our strategic objectives and operational priorities, as well as overseeing our brand development and market positioning. Hayley will drive the development and execution of strategic initiatives that support our mission, vision, and values through fostering a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement ensuring a strong commitment to our Care with Purpose approach.

Ben has been a Chartered Accountant for 20 years having qualified in London and completed his MBA through Curtin in 2011. He has worked for many years with aged care and health providers within the profit and not-for-profit sectors in Australia.

Ben’s knowledge of strategic planning, together with his experience in budgeting and analysis, has made a positive impact on our organisation and our people.

In line with his substanive role as Executive Manager Finance, Ben is developing robust systems at Catholic Homes. He enjoys working with our nursing and care staff to help build their knowledge of the financial side of the organisation, to empower them to grow into well rounded leaders, and to provide the best care possible through our ‘Care with Purpose’ model.

Carey is an experienced hospitality and operations manager with a demonstrated history of working in the health care industry.

With more than 10 years service in the aged care sector, Carey is skilled in a wide range of business acumen including negotiation, procurement, contract management, new building commissioning projects, catering, cleaning and laundry operations management and customer service.

He has an Advanced Diploma in Management and Diploma of Project Management from Australian Institute of Management WA.

Carey is a past Board member of the Institute of Hospitality in Healthcare (IHHC) and a former IHHC WA Chairperson.

Rose is an experienced organisational leader in the education and healthcare sectors, encompassing both metropolitan and regional areas.

Deeply committed to the not-for-profit sector, Rose strives to make a positive difference to workplace cultures and organisational alignment. Prior to overseeing the Campus Ministry at Bunbury Catholic College, Rose held senior leadership roles at St John of God Health Care and Catholic Education.

She enjoys innovating by using a ‘high energy’, ‘thinking outside the box’ collaborative approach to managing projects. Rose is a highly skilled public speaker and facilitator/creator of engaging adult learning and formation experiences.

Her formal qualifications include MATS-Theology and M.Ed. from the University of Notre Dame in Australia. Rose is loves learning and gained a Postgraduate Certificate in Business and is currently completing a Certificate IV -Training and Assessment.
