Partners in Care

Partners in Care is a new program which aims to maintain valuable connections older people have with family, friends and the community as well as reducing the risk of isolation and loneliness. In times of need Partners in Care provide assistance so our care staff can focus their efforts where it is needed most, directly caring for your loved one.

Our Partners in Care program enables authorised family members to attend the residence to help us so our staff can focus on caring for your loved one.

Partners in Care who provide agreed assistance at the residence are fully supported in their role with us and are given training necessary to carry out tasks that will benefit your loved one and assist our staff.

Our Partnership in Care program is agreed only after comprehensive discussions and assessments about the best arrangements for everyone involved, particularly in meeting your loved one’s views, wishes and preferences.

It is important to note that appointed Partners in Care will agree and comply with Catholic Homes policy and procedures including but not limited to infection prevention and control, privacy and code of conduct, and all outbreak management protocols, before starting with us.
