Visitor Safety Guidelines

Infection Prevention and Control

To ensure the well-being of all individuals, we kindly request that if you are experiencing symptoms of illness, such as fever, cough, or sore throat, you please get in touch with our helpful staff to reschedule your entry into our aged care residences. Your cooperation helps us maintain a safe and healthy environment for everyone.

To help protect our home care clients, aged care residents and workforce, our priorities are to reduce the risk of transmission, ensure the people we care for continue to receive quality aged care services, and ensure that everyone is fully informed and empowered to make the choices to live a full life.

At Catholic Homes, we follow the National Outbreak Management Guideline for Acute Respiratory Infection, including COVID-19, influenza, and Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) in Residential Aged Care Homes. Our infection control and prevention practices align with the Department of Health and Aged Care guidelines.

Current Infection Control Measures

Everyone is reminded that all infection prevention and control measures remain in place for our aged care residences, including:

  • Practice hand hygiene, cough etiquette and physical distancing
  • Visitors must check in and out using the Zipline visitor management system.
  • Please do not visit if you have symptoms such as fever, cough, or sore throat. We encourage you to stay home to recover and seek a test to rule out the virus

If you have any queries or concerns regarding these matters, please contact the Facility Manager at the residence for assistance.
