Understanding Your Rights
The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission is the national regulator of government-funded aged care services. The Commission provides information and resources to help older people, families and providers better understand rights in aged care.
Older people have the right to:
- Make their own decisions
- Be treated with dignity and respect
- Feel safe and supported
- Have their voice heard
- Access quality care and services
Providing feedback and complaints:
We value the feedback of our residents, clients, and families and love hearing about what we are doing well. Likewise, we value all feedback, suggestions, or ideas on what we can do to improve, and we welcome the opportunity to resolve any complaints you may have.
