Catholic Homes believes in Care with Purpose, promoting independence and encouraging and supporting people to do as much as possible for themselves so they remain active and busy. Care with Purpose ensures that you remain involved in making choices about how your day is spent and how you wish to be part of the community. Our residences are a place where you can choose to put your feet up or get involved in the everyday activities that make a house a home.
Family and friends are always welcome to visit for a tea, coffee or a meal. A dedicated Lifestyle Coordinator organises a busy calendar that gives you the opportunity to go on trips, participate in activities and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. There are also regular health and wellbeing classes with the Allied Health Team.
Catholic Homes also offers private Care at Home services to residents, if for example, you want to be accompanied on a shopping trip or to a doctor’s appointment.
The chef at Archbishop Goody prepares delicious meals, including morning and afternoon tea daily. All meals are served from a buffet, allowing people to choose their own meals on the day. Our care team is present to support those who are unable to serve themselves.
