We welcome new staff to Sister Mary’s

As we gear up for the opening of our newest aged care service, we are super excited to welcome our new staff, who will soon join Sister Mary Glowrey residential aged care.

More than two dozen new employees participated in a lively induction session led by our vivacious Mission leader, Rose Santoro with Facility Manager Wade Minett, Wellness Coordinator Caris O’Dea and others.

We are honoured that so many people have chosen an aged care career with us and we wish all new staff at Catholic Homes all the best in their work with us.

Facility Manager Wade Minett shared the good news that the residence had received its first accreditation from the Australian Government.

Catholic Homes plans to officially bless our Sister Mary residence in September so watch this space for more exciting news as the building nears completion and our residents and staff move in.

When operational later in 2023, our 96-place Sister Mary Glowrey Residential Aged Care service is designed to cater for all our residents’ needs within a relaxed, light-filled and home-like atmosphere that makes the most of its location.

Featuring open-air courtyards with covered balconies, tree-lined sensory garden spaces, a wellness centre, staff and meeting/training rooms, and a coffee bar, Sister Mary Glowrey will deliver modern aged care to the Belmont area and beyond.
