Executive Team gives thanks
An informal thanksgiving was held to acknowledge Castledare’s hard work in maintaining its accreditation, following a recent spot check from the aged care regulator.
In February the residence passed two standards related to care and governance —a significant reason to celebrate.
“This is an outstanding result, congratulations to everyone involved,” Chief Executive Darren Cutri said.
Executive Manager Carey Bray even donned whites to cook up a storm and head office staff came to assist.
The site’s managers and leaders plus head office support staff are acknowledged for their care and support to all residents, staff and volunteers at Castledare.
Big vision for Castledare
Congratulations to Sue Evans in her recent appointment as Facility Manager at Castledare.
Sue is keen to build on the residence’s strengths while developing rapport with staff, residents and families.
“Castledare has a lot of potential and we have a lot of ideas!” she said.
Sue is a valued staff member and has worked with us for several years in relief FM and infection control roles.
Her team-focused approach is already having an impact, and we wish her well.
Outside work, Sue loves travel and has a dream to visit the pyramids in Egypt.
