Festive songs, a choir performance, chocolates, Christmas cakes and sherry, were just some of the treats enjoyed by residents, their friends, family and staff at Servite Village’s Christmas Carol Concert in Joondanna.
The dining hall was full of good cheer and beautifully decorated with tinsel, a tree and balloons.
Residents took it in turns to do a reading and after the service was finished, some joined in for a sing along at the piano for a special mini “after concert” performed by Servite Choir.
Resident Ken White said: “I thought it was wonderful and it is a very nice way to bring family, residents and staff together under one roof.”
“Family are such an important part of our life here at Servite and that’s so clear today, as you can see from the turn out,” Facility Manager Evelyne Stothard said.
