A beautiful yellow hue was spread across Archbishop Goody Hostel in East Perth recently in celebration of National Daffodil Day.
Celebrated each year on 25th August, this event is the perfect occasion to add some bright colour to the day and AGH made the most of the opportunity, with even a yellow themed lunch, the highlight of which was a delicious and colourful lemon cheesecake!
Each resident was given a handmade daffodil pin to wear as they entered the dining room and the room itself was decorated with a stunning yellow theme throughout: yellow garlands, daffodil themed table decorations and bright yellow balloons.
AGH also used Daffodil Day as an opportunity to honour and show support for those who have been affected by cancer, including one resident who sadly lost her daughter to cancer very recently. She said she was greatly appreciative of the gesture and that she was touched and moved by the day.
