A group of residents at Servite have been getting creative by forming a knitting circle and are producing an impressive array of garments and blankets for charities.
They meet every Tuesday to knit together and one of their latest projects was knitting a brightly coloured blanket for Save the Children.
Occupational Therapist Naomi Moylan, says the ladies love the group, because not only are they doing something they love, but that it is also gives them a rewarding feeling that they helping others.
"They genuinely love it!", she says. "It's also perfect for those not so able bodied, because it doesn't require physical activity as such, yet it is still provides a great sense of satisfaction.
