Senior Recreation Council WA Advocates Lighter Living

Staying active as we age is integral to our well-being. The Seniors Recreation Council of WA (SRCWA) continues its pledge of healthy ageing through activity with events throughout the year.

On Friday 13th September we participated in SRCWA’s Bunbury Branch LiveLighter Activity Information Day held at the South West Italian Club. The event was attended by 900 people and around 50 metro and regional businesses and organisations. A wide range of activities were available including Zumba Gold, Pole Walking and a pot planting workshop by Bunnings.

The crowd was wowed by flamenco dancing, Zumba classes by local Zumba legend Betty McCleary and music by the Rusty Nails Band.
